Donations Appeal 2026 - Our funding is changing but grief doesn't wait. Click here for more information.

Thank you
Thank you for sharing your feedback on your course of counselling with us.
We wanted to take this opportunity to share some information about how the service is funded — not to ask anything of you, but because you've recently used it and may find this useful context.
We believe that grief shouldn't come with a price tag. Around 75% of the counselling we provide is funded through contracts with the NHS and local councils. The remainder, including our low-cost sessions, is supported by donations and grants. Even with this funding in place, demand for bereavement counselling in London continues to exceed the number of funded spaces available, and people are currently waiting for support.
Each session costs approximately £50 to provide. This covers the practical costs of running the service, such as room hire, support staff, clinical supervision, and the ongoing training required to maintain our standard of counselling. £500 can support one person through 10 weeks of counselling.
If you're ever in a position to contribute to this work, whether through a donation or by letting others know the service exists, it helps us continue offering support to people who need it. There's no obligation, and this message is for information only.
Warm wishes,
CCIWBS
